    replace bushings

Hi,I have a 99 transam and in the process of replacing all the bushings, and have a problem with the lower control arm. How do you get the lower control arm bolt out as I have undone the nut at the bottom of the bolt and then used a hammer to tap bolt out and it does not want to move, any help would be appreciated thanks.

The bolt may be seized in the bushing due to corrosion. You may have to hit it pretty hard to break it free. I will also sometimes try to spin the bolt with an air impact to break it free.

^^ also shoot some PB Blaster or WD40 and let it seep in a few mins.

When you do replace it rub some white lithium grease on the inside of the bushing and turn the bolt to coat everything nice. Clean the threads off before tightening, You don't want grease on them. A dab of blue Locktite or nylon lock nuts will keep them from backing off.
