    Rear suspension

I am going to lower my ride in a couple of weeks and was wondering if I had to change out any other rear suspension parts to run 17x11 rear wheels. I am new with f-bodys so any help would be greatly appreciated. Also any reccomendations on springs also would be helpful.

You will need an Adjustable Panhard Bar to recenter the rear after lowering it.

Thanks guys for the help. Like I said I'm new to these cars and was unsure if anything else needed changed. I was leaning towards the stranos or eibach kit.

if you read on here there are some negative results with the eibach kits. type it in the search link on the top of page. Most of probs come with time I think like sag in the rear.

Drag car?? If not, skip the QA1 shocks.

Get strano springs. Best ride, perfect height, best overall performer.
    Koni shocks.

And as mentioned, an adjustable panhard bar is almost needed to center the rear.
Some LCA's would keep the rear in place nicely as well.

If you gonna lower it, you will need shocks.
Also depending on how much you want to lower, you might not need to get springs, since you can do it w/ Koni SA (due to 2 perch locations) allowing you to remain @ stock position or lower by 3/4". Another option to consider, while having one of the best shocks available.
