Rear shocks with a 12 bolt?
Its time to replace the rear shocks.. AGAIN... and I wonder if the added weight of the 12 bolt caused the replacements to go faster? They were the mid-grade shocks from Advance. If so, what would you recommend I get? The car is not lowered nor am I planning on it. Has UMI torque arm, SFCs, LCAs, and PHB.
Car is my daily and now only car... I drive it fairly hard, but it hasn't seen the track in years.-Geno

The Bilstein HD shocks are a good choice for stock ride heights. Many folks consider them the best non-adjustable shocks.

I just bolted my stock shocks back in place after installing a 12 bolt. Seems to ride just fine and no problems at the track so far.

Well.. I replaced the stockers at 60K when I bought the car... then replaced them again at about 140K.. just hit 160K.. so this set either didn't like the 12 bolt I swapped in just before.. or they were a bad set. Looks like a set of Bilstein HDs from the WS6 store is in my VERY new future...

they're probably just wore out cause they're cheap auto parts store shocks, a Bilstein, Koni or KYB will give much better life
