rear bump stop mod
hey guys can anyone post a pic of a lowered camaro(example 1.5 inches) rear bump stop mod. the reason im asking is i took the stock one, put it in the vise and cut about a inch off, level across and bolted them back on, i would like to see pic of real mod, probally energy susp, or someone, so post pic of mod please, thanks,,,,,,,,,,terry or just tell me what you did to your stock big thick rubber axle bump stop, i did notice before i cut mine , just looking under the car, sittin in garage, there was very little room between the rubber mount and the axle housing, and to add i use to feel the rear hit hard, not allowing the susp to work, if im wrong with all this im pretty sure someone gonna tell me, so im never to old to learn,,,,,,,,,,terry

the bump stop keeps the shock from bottoming out... the only reason to get rid of the bump stop is if you have super wide tires and need the extra inner fender clearance. I feel you though.... I did the hose mod on my sportlines and the bump stop is maybe an inch away from the axle tube

If you still have the rear 1/2" bump stops spacers on your car remove them.
Cutting the bump stops shorter works, but if your rear springs are to soft it won't help to much.
