    power steering

    I need help with a steering problem... when i first start my car and begin driving my steering is fine but once the car warms up to normal operating temp its like i have no power steering. my rack and pinion was leaking so i replaced that but i still have the same problem...any ideas? maybe power steering pump?

    Did you bleed the system after the rack instail?
    Hows the fluid level?
    Any leaks now?
    When it feels like you have no powerstearing, Try giving it some gas, in neutral and turn the wheel at the same time, does that help any?

    check if any of your lines touch your headers... maybe boiling the thing unvoluntarily.

    So no leaks thers plenty of fluid and when i do turn in nuetral while revving it works fine ill check on the header thing this weekend thanks

    can the rack and pinion be replaced from below without pulling motor? mine is leaking pretty bad and have to order new

    yes it can but one of the bolts ..i believe on the drivers side ..i had to cut off with a sawzall because when it comes up it hits the engine block. When i put the new one in i just put it in from the bottom... its a pretty straight forward install tho
