powder coat stranos?
ok so my stranos just came in and there nice and shiny and white, kinda throws my color scheme off cuz my car is red and im gonna have black c6s,red calipers, and zinz rotors, white doesnt really match. Has anyone every powdercoated them b4 or just painted them in general

well a friend of a friend might do it...i just have to see how much he'll charge me. They look nice and i like the fact they say strano but i wish he had color options, i dont do car shows but i still want it to look clean since my new rims and rotors are going to attract alot of attention

Red- 2001 Camaro SS
I've got an all red and black theme going and didn't bother with my Stranos. You can't see them while on the ground...and even in the air it's tougher to see. I also didn't want to subject my springs to 475 degree heat in an oven for an hour.

My sway bar is stock. If you meant the red bar, that's the poly/rod panhard bar from UMI. My rearend is a stock 10 bolt, but with 3.73's. For peace of mind, I added the TA Diff. cover to "tighten up" everything.

yea i meant the sway bar...it looks to shiny and black to be original, but then again ur car might be in better shape than mine, ive got the umi double adj panhard bar myself, just havent got it installed yet

Powdercoating will not mess with the temper of spring steel, and technically they would be in an oven for 10 min (at part metal temp. of 400 degrees)
