Possible to add spacer to front Struts to raise ??
Just curious if anyone knows of any products designed to raise the front coils a bit. I have the eibach sportline springs and while I think the car looks sexy for the winter I'd like to raise it a little bit.
I found metal coil spacers made for the rear in 1/2 inch and I would want a 1/4 inch or so spacer for the front. I want to take apart the strut assembly and slip it inside and put it back together. Not sure if it works that easy so I'm hoping someone can chime in.

They have them on ebay. People use them to raise their cars to fit 20"+ wheels on the car.

Well I figured if I could theoretically lengthen the spring in the strut it would help the strut do its job a little better. I'm just going to unbolt the bottm shock mount from the lower control arm and throw in some spacers. Adjustable ride height cheaper and less time consuming than coil overs. win-win ?

BMR sells the spacers that go between the shock and the a-arm.
i would just ditch the sportlines though. i like performance more than looks. what kind of shocks are you on? there's a few coilover kits out there that would let you go just as low but at least have a decent spring rate in the front at least

Exactly the plan. Just want to make sure i have ground clearance for when it snows a bit more.
So on the fence to just buy stranos and konis. Money isnt an issue its just wether or not I want to invest any more into this car or just order an 11 5L

IMO, take it in and have the "Toe" checked, and adjusted if needed after raising it up.
