    PHB installed

I just completed the install of my UMI Adj. PHB. It was definitely an easy install. Easier than the bolt on SFC's.

My rear was off to the drivers side to start with, I over adjusted, now I'm off to the passenger side.

I did take it for a quick drive down the road after the initial install, and it definitely changed the feel of the ride. Now I just need to continue saving for shocks and springs.

Hmmm.. kids college tuition or parts for car?

yes my car does honestly feel like it rides better after the install.

My rear was about 3/4" over on the drivers side of the vehicle, I have been able to adjust it to about 1/8" over on the passenger side.

The install was pretty straight forward as Sam stated in your thread.

I was wondering what issues you had...if any...when you put on your bolt on SFConnectors that made it harder than the PHB? I know the PHB is only two bolts but was there something other than that? I just got my UMI bolt in SFC's and ADJ PHB and was going to put them on this weekend. Is there anything I should watch out for or tips to make them eaiser.

    Thanks for any help.

The hardest part I had with the SFC's was that the bolt on the passenger side didn't want to slide back through the LCA.

Its not that either were really difficult. Just the PHB took less time to bolt on.

What did you have to do to get the bolt through the LCA hole. (Hammer??)

I did my Spohn torque arm, 22mm sway bar, and double rod ended phb last weekend. Didn't really notice much of a difference.

Finished the suspension this weekend. Installed the SLP Bilstein front and rear shocks/springs, UMI ADJ PHB, two point bolt in UMI Sub Frame Connectors, and an alignment. I love the stance of it now and it handles great.

Did you use chassis mount torque arm?

I installed some UMI LCA's and adjustable PHB recently. both were way easier than my SLP SFC's. panhard bar was def. the easiest. didn't even jack my car up. The LCA's made a huge difference, but I had some binding issues with my SFC's since the bolt runs through them and it was pinched. rubber mallet solved that problem. my car handles way better now. I feel that the PHB makes me car handle better around corners and the LCA's help when going straight. There's alot less wheel hop.

that's good to hear... I'm still waiting arival on my LCA Brakets and SFC's... I already got the PHB...and man was that a huge improvement... my car used to wobble uncontrolably...and as soon as we put the PHB on and adjusted it... it turned into a really nice ridding car!... now I just have to buy the KÖNI Shocks so I can get the bounce out of the ride with the Eibachs!...

Parts store on Ebay. The kit wasn't brand new. Had 25k on them already. I would have to look to see what I paid but it was under $300, and that included shipping. Huge improvement from the stock ones that were on there when I bought the car back in July. They had 120,000+ on them when I changed them. I am the second owner.
