Panhard Bar Question
Ok guys I've searched everywhere on here (maybe I'm not using the right buzz words) I'm gathering parts for her spring re-birth = Spohn LCA / LCA relocation bracket Spohn ADJ. Panhard bar all with del-shere ends. Thats the stuff I didnt get to last year. The question is does the upper panhard bar stay stock? I have found a couple write ups that say "only reason its there is to hold the lower" Does it need replaced also? If so whats the buzz word for locating them? Parts or write ups. Thanks in advance.

No you don't need to replace the Upper PHB.

I swapped the upper panhard on mine, but its by no means necessary. The only real advantage I know of to swap it for an aftermarket one, is for clearance reasons. As far as any suspension related reasons, really can't think of any benefits to swapping it.

I also considered the upper brace when I purchased my suspension parts. It just did not seem that there was a need to upgrade the stock piece after looking things over. Maybe on an autocross car it would be a wise upgrade.

Actually the only time I can see where the upper needs removal is when your swapping the whole PHB setup out for a Watt's Link.

Doing this gives you more room to run 3" duals.
