Double-adjustable PHB's can be adjusted on the car.

UMI on car adj with upper poly end & lower roto-joint end link. Upper poly for noise reduction and lower on car adj with roto-joints makes it easy to adjust after lowering.

The double adjustable panhard bar features left and right hand threads for quick and easy on-car adjustments by simply loosening (2) jam nuts; it does not require removal of the panhard bar from vehicle to make an adjustment.

With a single adjustable PHB, you need to remove the one end to make an adjustment.

With non-adjustable, you obviously have no adjustment.

    Scratches head...

I just bought the single adjustable UMI one so I went and took a picture of it for you to see it up close. It also has the double jam nut for adjustment "on the car". Now I am confused with on-car adjustable versus double adjustable

Guess I'll fire this thread back up and ask the question...

It appears to me as if my passenger side tire is tucked in further than my driver's side. I've got the BMR adjustable PHB, that looks very similar to the one 35th posted above in the picture. Only difference is that my adjuster has the 2 jam nuts, just as the one above, but is not completely off-set to one side. It's off-set probably 10 inches or so to one side, so I'm guessing that I can adjust it on the car, by loosening the 2 jam nuts, and rotating the adjuster with a huge 1 1/8 wrench (or whatever it is), correct?

My REAL question is, does anybody know how I go about adjusting it to make it perfectly centered? Is there a tool that I need? Or is it just one of those things you have to eye-ball to the best of your ability? Thanks

From everything I've ever seen Master, you just eyeball it. I would probably tape a weighted string to the fender on each side and measure the distance from the string to the tire and go from that. That is what I planned on doing with mine at least. There might be a better way, but that is what I thought of.

If you're lowered, your rear-end will be shifted towards the driver side. I think in general even at stock height, our cars tend to favor one side.
