My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
operation "sick & twisted" continues
FINALLLLLY got my Sway Bar and LCA relocation brackets installed and I must say, they made one hell of a difference! Before, i was running UMI LCA's with ProKit and stock shocks [ i know...i know]. The ride was really harsh and every bump in the road felt like a falling off of a cliff!
The relocation brackets softened bumps about 50% or more, and the Suspension Techniques 35mm Solid front sway bar increased my cornering considerably. I still won't make high speed lane changes b/c the stock shocks could kill me, but turning through street corners is a lot more fun now as the car isn't rolling so severly.

You need to add a G-tech to that mod list to see what kind of numbers you can turn.

It's actually fun to see how many G's you can build in corners. It's actually really surprising sometimes. Now that I'm so used to my suspension when I drive other cars I'm always squealing the tires around corners that I never do in my car. I thought I was going to roll the inlaws mini-van one day turning a corner! Now I know why they call it a Town & Country, it takes that much room to take a corner!

Hey TSS what is a good shock and spring setup to go with. i want to change out both and i do want to lower the car some but keep in mind i have 18s in the read and 17s up front. i want to get all new shocks and springs, where is a good place to get a "package" setup and at a reasonable price?

Our sponsors will help you out the most-they are normally good for packaging things and discounting certain items. For your set up, you might want to contact Hotpart.com and talk with brian-he's been a big help to me. Also, if brian can't get it, then Bobby over at Kentucky Speed sure as hell will.
I suggest Koni Single Adjustable shocks and BMR lowering springs. They only drop the car an inch. You'll need an adjustable Panhard bar also-check the "items for sale" on here, as they come n' go. Lastly consider getting a big 35 mm front sway bar; either hollow or solid. Jegs sells a solid one from Suspension Techniques for about $125-cheap and strong as a bull.
