Next suspension mod advice
Slowly but surely i'm getting into suspention mods... i used to be all about the power but after riding my brothers porsche, i'm jelous while i'll never get anywhere close, there is few "cheap" engine mods left for me to do, so ive been throwing some cash at the ignored category that is suspension. now with a fulltime job, i have some spare cash comming my way, so im doing some planning. ive def decided on 383 stroker but in the meantime i have to decide on the next suspension part!
so far i have replaced the ball joints cause apparently both where shot, the rear shocks cause they too where shot and i saw immediate gains with both, but also a bmr strut tower brace becaue it was cheap quick and easy, a bmr torque arm and bmr sway bar becasue mine was just about rusted through at the connection points. what would be a good next piece to throw in there?
i have the replica zr1 wheels on there (17x9.5 56mm, 17x11 50mm) with the 275/40 and 315/35 if that matters at all. i dont drag race at all at the track, although id like a go or two this summer maybe? but mostly cruise around, do some fast pulls and generally get the thrills from pulling around swoopers pretending im a f1 driver haha. with street tires and 4.11's i dont think i could race anyone from a stop anyway, she'd just sit there and spin!
let the suggestions begin!Last edited by grandkodiak; 05-30-2009 at 04:42 PM.

Yeah everyone says subframe connectors when it comes to suspension but why don't you point him in the right direction as to which to get. From what i see there are quite a few types. Some that connect in the middle, some don't, some that weld on, others bolt on. I think he would be interested in knowing the difference and whats best. . . i know i would .

I just got the BMR boxed weld in SFCs. I've read pretty good things about BMR.

I have the slp bolt ins. If i remember right it was the first mod I did to the car. I bought it new in 2001. It stiffened it up. You can really notice it when you jack it up. I've been happy with them, but I cant compare them with any others.
And they were easy to install
