Supposedly the new ones are a copy of strano's design. Strano also says they use a less quality material.

BMR flies the made in the USA flag which is cool but as what was said an inferior material & process but they do have the same spring rates. I think Sam uses Vogtland which makes springs for our cars, Vogtland's are just very expensive. J&M sells Vogtland and is a sponcer on here but uses the same material and process to make Strano's

    Strano rates: 550/150
    BMR rates: 550/160

soooo why did BMR change their design after years and years? probably because strano's were selling like crazy. not much bad strano can say about them, because they are pretty much identical to his. his are made from a lighter material though. it's probably pretty vain but i will not recommend or purchase from BMR because of it.

not exactly the same. Sam's springs are to his own specs based off of experience and developed using Koni shocks, one of the reasons why they work so well togther. Vogtland is who I believe sam has make up his springs. he usually does runs of a 100 sets imported from Germany.

Wait for them. I see guys all the time with money burning a hole in thier pocket and can't wait for people to restock so they go out and buy what they really did not want and regret it. Wait for them.

Sam spec'd his springs to HIS specifications - Vogtland makes them for him and their own version as well. Don't know about the spring material, but Vogtland's spring rate is different from Sam's, the drop may be different also. Ask Sam about the way a spring BUILDS its advertised rate- a spring that has close advertised rates may be different in practice depending on the characteristics of the metal used AND how it was wound to achieve its' rate.

I just wonder when he might roll in with a new batch. Sam's out racing this week so we won't know until next week at the earliest. but don't wait to order to long. if you order now it's like reserving a set and sam wont charge you untill there shipped but they go fast once there in. if you do order patience will be a virtue cause you might be waiting a while.
