    Need help with rear suspension

Hey guys I have a 2000 formula thats just bolt ons a big cam and a stall. When I had the wheel off I noticed that the right side bump stop on the bottom of the car is all messed up and is hitting the rear I'm assuming this happens when I launch either from the car squatting or wheel hop. Any suggestions on a good strut for the back or would a aftermarket panhard bar solve my problem?

Shocks Bilstein - not to expensive and have an excellent reputation.

Bump stops you can get some poly's from Strano for $25. There will need to be mod a little but it's better then $90

Anytime you upgrade the suspension form stock is always better. PHB will not help your problem as much as a good set of shocks and springs. Again Strano can help.

I'm using UMI for my suspension upgrades. Really good product & excellent customer service. Many members her are using them.

If you need his web site I'll have to pm it to you. Let me know.

Awesome thanks for the help. I've seen strano on this forum before I think. I'll have to check them out and order a pair of the bump stops and get the bilstein shocks. I have spohn lca's right now but I'll be ordering umi subframe connectors soon.

Just for reference, our cars do not have struts. They have shocks - front and rear. Koni shocks are the best. Bilstein are second best and a great shock for the price if you cannot justify dropping the coin for Koni's.

Sam Strano is a very knowledgeable guy when it comes to suspension. I run his Strano lowering springs paired with the Koni 4/4 on-car adjustable shocks. Love the stance and ride quality.
    It's on jackstands.

Also to add some lower control arm relocation brackets would help with the wheel hop if you dont already have them
