Lowering My Z
I am going to buy lowering springs and am currently trying to decide what to buy. I am leaning towards the Eibach Sportlines and wondered if anyone has used them or had any suggestions?
Thanks

Your better off getting the Eibach Pro-Kit. The Sportlines are too low of a drop for alot of back road driving. I've got the Pro-Kit and while it's pretty low, it's not so low that I'm dragging my y-pipe everywhere I go.

I just lowered mine with the Eibach sportlines. Make sure you can find a ramp you get your car on to align it. that was a pain!

I'd go w/ Prokits instead of Sportlines...
do a search... that topic has been covered many times.Eugenio_SS

I'm thinking the same thing. I have the pro-kit and can't imagine being any lower and being able to have fun on the streets. I already know every pot hole, large crack, bump, and steep driveway in the city.

well because i used my gf parents shop , they had a strut comp on the wall, really nice setup, it took me about 3 hours and then probably about a half an hour for an oil change,
so i was in an out in 4 hours start to finish and driving away,
and i do have pics as well as soon as i get home from work i will post them on my home comp.

Let us know if you like the eibach springs. I have read a lot of bad things about guys lowering with eibachs. Saying the ride is to rough and that the car feels likes it's going to fall apart. They are happy with the look they give but unhappy with the ride quality. I have also read of guys swapping back to stock springs because the ride sucked. Just wanted to let you know.

Blackety Black- 35th Anniversary SS
If you drop a car you have to stiffen up the ride or else you will be bottoming out left and right. Thats also why your car handles better, less body roll puts higher pressure to the pavement. Slow down on the back roads that have dips or pot holes, and def. slow down in the city or else you will shake your car apart...
