From what I've come across, they're not any lower than if you had longtubes ... Depends on setup though. I've had atleast one that needed to be modified to install longtubes and the y-pipe.
I like work. It fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours.

I'm gonna correct myself there cos I just remembered. I had to modify one of those double diamond brace type setups to get the y-pipe to fit without modification.

I'm on Stranos and Koni's with boxed UMI 2 pt. subframes. You can barely even see the subframes. Mine will probably never scrape.

Like Sommer mentioned you shouldn't have any issues at all. The 3-Point SLP boxed might as they hang a little lower and cause some issues on a lowered car. If you go with any of the UMI SFC's you won't have any issues. Our tubular 2-Point style tucks up extremely well and can't be seen from the side of the car.

    Hope this helps!

im not a fan of a tubular SFC....as long as i know the UMI boxed SFC will not hit anything with lets say a 2in drop im getting those

one other question...car will be making 650rwhp, and will see the track once a month other wise its mostly on the street...will the boxed SFC work well OR should i get the 3point??

Your exhaust and other items will hang lower than the SFC's so I don't see you having any issues at all with the boxed. Also the boxed would be fine at that power range as well. We usually recommend the 3-Point SFC's when running a short tunnel mounted torque arm, they tie everything together and reduce floor stress applied to the vehicle.

    Hope that helps,
    Ryan

We have very minimal issues with this but this was one of the main reasons for designing the 3-Point SFC's. But again very rare to see any issues, its just extra insurance and protection. Combined together they pretty much make an indestructible set up

word of warning. the 3 points will scrape on speed bumps and sharply angled driveways with a 2 inch drop. like Ive said in other threads, it's the main reason I changed from a 17" wheel to a 19" wheel. now they don't scrape but I'm sure 19" wheels aren't desireable for the track.

Yes this could be correct on a 2" drop, I completely forgot about it being lowered. The tunnel mounted torque arms for long tubes also aren't the best on vehicles lowered that much, which model were you planning on getting or what exhaust system do you have?

    Thanks!
