Lets talk about: RIDE QUALITY...
We purchased our car for one thing: pleasure rides/trips on the weekends, car shows, cruises, etc. No racing of any kind, just top down cruising. Our car has bone stock trans am suspension, original deCarbon shocks, slp added bushings (?) and no mods what so ever on the suspension. W/ 55k miles the ride quality at 40 mph on a scale of 1-10 is about a 5-6 at most , at 75-80 she rides smooth has silk. My quest and number one dislike about this car is the low speed ride quality. I also have issues with corners at low speed such has going L or R to a side street, the car seems to side step and sways a lot it seems too.
What can be done to correct these issues?
Remember, I am looking to achieve the best overall ride quality, period.
PLMKRegards,
Todd

Check your tires. If they are wearing wierd this could case the problem. I had a tahoe and the tires wore wierd. In between 70 and 77 the car didn't handle well and shook but anything under or over was fine. If you change tires and this still happens you may need to check the alignment.

All good
The car has already been to a tire and alignment shop. The tires, front end, alignment and rear suspension all checked out fine. In fact, the alignment mechanic said if it were his, he would just drive it, FWTW.
