LCA Relocation Brackets w/ 12 Bolt

Will a different rear end (12 bolt) change the centering of aftermarket LCA's w/ relocation brackets. I want to get LCA's w/ weld in relocation brackets, but I also want a 12 bolt in the future and I was wondering if they would be completely compatible together? I mean would u have to change the relocation bracket's position or anything like that?

i think that the relocation brackets are for specific rear ends. So if you got them not you would have to get different ones to fit a 12bolt later. For example i know spohn has relocation brackets for stock 10bolts and then then they have other ones for moser 12bolt and 9' applications.

so they wont properly center a 10 bolt rear end? Cuz i would not buy 10 specific 1's if thats the case, i'd rather just wait.

yea i would wait to get the relocation brackets until you have the rear you want. But you could still get the LCA's.

weld ons do just that, weld on. doesn't matter rear end. when you order the 12 bolt, it will be made for the f-body. according to BMR, the bolt in relocation brackets do not fit aftermarket rears.

I am not saying don't get relocation brackets but shouldn't an adjustable torque arm solve that problem?

adjustable torque arm changes pinion angle. has nothing to do do with the angle of the trailing arms.

So how does it change the angle? I assume it would lower the back of the LCA?

well, if you do, remember you have to cut them off of what you put them on now and weld them onto the 12 bolt. call up the vendor and see if they already weld on relocation style brackets. my bet is they do as they have to weld on something to attach the trailing arm to.

oh i c, so it would be smarter to wait then. thanks. Also, as a side note, is installing lca's and a panhard bar hard? I was thinking about getting UMI's package deal.

takes me about 15 minutes to install all three pieces. trick on the trailing arms is to do one side at the time. this way, the other side is hold the rear in place. it will move slightly. just use a pry bar or something to move the rear into place, if it does.
