    Knocking noise when steering camaro

    This sound is annoying and cant find the source... I got under the car and seems like its coming from center of rack , or between k member and rack

    No movement on tie rod ends a arms or the rack itself

    Idling or off its there
    Heres a vid from the inside of car bc Its late to have a pal to steer while recording

    Help

    Wow. That is quite loud. Headers? How is you clearance by the steering shaft?

    No headers! That car is bone stock, for what I heard feels like coming from center or inside of the rack I try to feel with my fingers the 2 bolts that holds it to the k member for some movement with no luck.

    Has the car ever been in an accident? Grab your steering shaft and see if there is any movement in it.

    possibly broken sway bar link that is catching on the a-arm(slipping in and out of the link hole) my truck did something similar drove me nuts till i fig it out

    No accidents yet. Got under today again , its inside rack cilinder feels inside tthe dust boot can de inner tie rod be loose? Sway bar feels solid as rock.

    +2 that's what it sounds like to me.

    My w-bodies all have the same type inner tie and that sound is nearly identical to the sounds they make when the inner is bad or going.
