    hotchkis sfc

hey I don't know if anyone has experienced this or not but i recently installed the hotchkis sfc's and was very disappointed with the fitment mostly on the driver's side. Not recommended. once i made them fit i was happy though.

    Were they weld in SFC's?

What did you have to do to make the drivers side fit?

    sfc

they were weld in. the area i had the most trouble with was the part that welds into the front sub frame on the driver's side. it is basically a squared u shape. problem was that the sides were too close together not allowing the bottom to contact the frame or even be close if you know what i mean. nothing that a torch and some vice grips couldn't fix.

Sorry to randomly join in but I have been looking around for shops to do my weld in SFC and one of the shops said they might have to take out the carpeting. is it necessary to take out the carpet for SFC install in our cars?

had the same problem with mine... nothing a hammer couldn't fix though haha

if i were to do it over again, i would go with a 3 point sfc instead of 2 point.
