Hotchkins or strano?
ok i have a question, plan on lowering my car not too soon but want to. i have 17's and plan on staying with them. i have a true dual system and i scrape right now due to a rebar that is part of the bracket that bends underneath the pipe to hold it witch actually makes it scrape. my question is should i go with strano being 1.25" lower or go with the 1" from hotchkins. ive heard nothing but great from strano but dont know much of hotchkins, any thoughts much appreciated, thanks clint.

Anything you can do to gain more clearance where you are currently scraping?
I run Strano's and am happy.
What shock are you running? Stock DeCarbons? If so, going with a lowering spring with stock shocks is going to make your ride quality suffer.

im scraping smack dab in the middle of the car, i plan on getting different shocks before i lower it so i wont be running stocks. i guess ill just do more research and take more opinions

I have read nothing but great reviews about Strano's and having them myself I have no complaints. I run them with Koni 4/4's though.
However, I've never really seen anything bad said about the Hotchkins either.
You definitely want a better shock though to handle the spring rate difference between that of a lowering spring and the stock spring. Koni would be first choice, with Bilstein coming in second.

I run hotchkis on mines and have no complaints. Lowered the car a little moer than 1" as they advertise. I have them paired with koni 4/4's all around.

I've also got Hotchkins and have no issues. Very happy with. I can't say it changed my ride because my springs were shot to begin with.
I also believe you can't go wrong with Strano springs either. I've heard many good things about them. I went with Hotchkins because I couldn't wait for Strano to get resupplied. At the time he was 5 weeks from getting them in and I needed springs right away.
Here's a pic of mine with 17"

thxs, and yeah it (choices) gets to be overwhelming sometimes. I have to say I'm loving my springs, car feels like it's on rails.

I have no experience with none of them. But most of the people get stranos.
I bought some stranos I probably put them on some time this week or next week. I also got the bilstein shocks. I couldn't afford konis
If I get it done sometime this coming week I can post pics so you can see how it looks
