I have not done it personally but I know of people who have. By doing this the rear would be lowered probably about another half an inch maybe a tad less. What springs are you using? If they are the eibach springs that come with the slp bilstein shocks and spring package you are looking at a total drop of 1.5" in the rear.

I did it on my Firehawk and my bird rode like crap and yes it did drop it maybe a 1/2-1 inch. Your better off buying a set of Strano springs if u want to lower your car don't take any shortcuts because u will do it twice.

I did this when I was running comp engineering drag shocks and stock springs. As stated, less than 1" drop but was definitely significant enough to change look. Really liked it. Didn't notice much difference in ride quality, as it's not a Cadillac, the ride is not that great anyway. Not hard to do, just the hose can be a pain to slide on at times. Use some type of vasoline or equivalent. Can use WD40 just keep in mind that WD doesn't evaporate or wear off anytime soon so stand possibility of working it's way back off. Slim possibility since so much weight on em but still.... I ran them for less than a 1k miles and that's over about 2 years. Car is rarely driven. I switched to Bilsteins and BMR springs recently. When I pulled stock springs the hose on them had already begun to wear thru. So if you drive your car a lot, you may have to redo them once or twice a year. I reinstalled the spring isolators with the BMR springs. Would've been too low with hose mod.
