got some parts, have some questions

picked up some bilstein shocks, springs, and sway bars off of a firehawk for $100. couldn't resist.

are the sway bars any better than the stock ones on my base trans am?

the springs and shocks lower the car abt an inch i've heard. will i need an alignment and or an adjustable panhard bar and lower control arms? the guy before me said he ran it without and was fine

anything else you can tell me about this setup is welcome, thanks

1st question: which bilstein shocks ?
2nd question: which springs you got ?
3rd question: whicj sway bar sizes you got ? hollow or plain ? know which make ?

To answer if thesway are better... depends on which ones you bought.
You will need an alignment after the installation.

to be perfectly honest i'm not entirely sure. everything is off of the same car so i'm assuming it's whatever came with the bilstein package. same as the ss suspension.

IF that is the case, then you have SLP bilstein shocks/springs... and swaybars are identical

the front swaybar had a little tag on it. looked it up and it's the 32mm from a ws6. is the rear swaybar on a ws6 any better than a stock trans am?

those "things" you can get at any parts store. not sure if they make those in urethane though. or... you can use the ones that come off of the shock your taking off the car.

don't do 2 sides differently i'd imagine that would feel wierd. ( car lean more going around a right turn than left) etc.

well the kit i got has enough for 2 shocks, so i'll do either the front 2 or rear 2 with poly, and the backs with the stock, or i'll just return them and use all the stocks.
