    Funky orange shocks

Does anyone out there know who really makes the orange colored shocks in my 2002 camaro ss. They came with the car and have Delphi on them along with a blue and white GM sticker. They still work fine since I have only 30k very easy, garage kept, no rain miles. I have been told they were made for GM by another manufacturer. I have heard Koni, Bilstien, Monroe and a few others I can't remember. Thanks for your help.

That the stock junk De Carbon shocks. They are comparable to OEM replacement Monroes or Gabriels.

    "The de Carbon hydraulic shock
absorber was invented in 1953, by
    Christian Bourcier de Carbon.
The De Carbon Company was also
    established in 1953, however, in
1997, Delphi gained control of the
    entire company. When BeijingWest
    Industries acquired the brakes and
    suspensions business of Delphi in
2009, BWI Group acquired the de
    Carbon brand. "
