Drivers side is way lower than passenger side......

So my car has been on jacks for a while and I just put it back on the ground and for some reason the drivers side both front and back are way lower than the passenger side. Like the front drivers is resting on the tire where the passenger front has about 1.5 inches or so of space. The rear drivers I can barely fit my hand in between the fender and the tire but the rear passenger has a lot of room. I did replace my shocks with bilsteins and springs with vogtlands but that was months ago and I don't think it did this but I haven't driven it all that much. It hasn't had an alignment since I did the shocks and springs, could that be the cause? Or is it more likely that for some reason the springs aren't even on all 4 of them and need to be re-adjusted? Help and suggestions would be appreciated.

I will post pictures of it later.

Go drive the car a bit and then check the height. Chances are things will settle in and it's fine. My car always sets higher in the front when I drop it down off the lift.

So it's fine that it is sitting like this? I can't drive it yet, I guess I will drive it when I can and see if that fixes it.

Pictures are tough to tell from, but I'd side with Jeff. You might check the springs and make sure they are seated properly.

You could rock the car side to side a bit and see if it evens out.

Guess I will check out the springs and see if anything looks odd. But I think I will try rocking it first.

Okay, I looked a little bit at the springs. I haven't taken the wheels off though. But the passenger rear clearance is more than it was stock. The springs appear to be seated correctly. The gaps between the coils are really large for some reason, a lot larger than the drivers rear, wonder what would cause that. I need to take the wheels off to see more. Question are the springs specific for front and rear or does it not matter, mine were not labeled or any thing. If they are I am thinking my passenger rear is suppose to be on the drivers front and vise versa.

Thats what may have happened? The gaps between the springs should not be significantly larger then the other side. Make sure they sent you the correct springs all the way around, check the spring for the #`s .

That could explain it. The rear springs are generally "softer" than the front as there is more weight up front. Usually thinner diameter with larger spacing is for the rear.

I think I am going to swap the springs out and see if that changes anything.

Some spring sets are ''progressive'' meaning that all the coils are not the same diameter..Like when you look at a set of you stockers all the coils are the same diameter (all even). Progressive coils are bigger on one end then the other..They progressively change diameter. this is so your ride will be less harsh.

Yeah but the coils from side to side should be the same not necessarily each coil on the same spring.

I actually haven't gotten to it yet. I am in the middle of cleaning out my cam cavity so my engine won't destroy the bearings from metal in the cam cavity. I will post the results when I get around to it.

This. Differentiating the fronts from the rears should be fairly easy with them side by side

Sounds like the most obvious culprit. You put the front springs all on the same side. That sucks. You will have to rework three corners. I feel for you. At least you didn't ruin anything. Just double the work.

No I just put the drivers front spring on the back passenger I just need to swap the two springs. I got the passenger rear spring out now I just need to get the front shock out and swap springs. Hopefully, this will happen tonight.
