    Drilled and Slotted Rotors

Post your aftermarket rotors and brake setups. Give your opinions on drilled, slotted, zinc, brands, pads, etc. Are they worth it? Any issues?

I'm looking to upgrade, at the least, my rotors to some that are drilled, slotted, and zinc coated. I have 18" rims so I am also doing this for looks because the brakes are easily seen. I also plan to upgrade my pads. I want less dust and a little more stopping power. Suggestions?

    Sponsors input?

Go with the Brembo blanks, they are the best rotors for the money. Drilled and slotted rotors are just for appearance nowadays.

No, I was talking about the brembo blanks, no slots or drilled holes. Avoid the drilled at least if your going for appearance, they will crack.

    oh ok . . .

what about the not drilled through style like the above link to the EBC's? I guess it would be better.

thanks for the link . . . i just think if your gonna change the rotors over to an aftermarket brand instead of a cheap autozone factory replacement, i want them to "look" high performance. Kinda dumb theory i guess but I am goin for looks too. If I had stock 16" wheels I would probably be focusing more on the pads instead of rotors.

I agree the ws6 stores at quaulity rotors. Theres lot's of people on the forums running them with no complaints. I know of a couple guys locally that have them and they are very pleased with them. These are the rotors I will be going with.

yea my stock rotors warped all the time, I went to drilled/slotted rotors to take care of the prob, they worked really good untill I bought new wheels w/ tires that were out of round and caused my rotors to have runout on them, so now I get a little bit of vibrations in the pedal, I of course replaced my tires w/ better ones, but the rotors didnt warp, just have run out due to un even braking.

I work for an undercar distributor! Those prices ar for Chinese rotors and even at 220something they are ripping you off! The good quality rotors i have are at about $475 for all four. Chinese....could do all four for a lot less than 220something!

My drilled and slotted ebc brakes are LOUD AS HELL they sound like salt and pepper shakers when braking. It annoys me cause now people are looking to see who's car sounds like shit instead of how bad ass mine looks.

p.s. does anyone have a link to the brembo blanks that everyone is using, so i can swap them out when i need to again.
