De Carbon Shocks & Struts and Hello
Hey Y'all
I have been to your site reading many of times & just got around to joining .
I do not own a Camaro But I am a G M Fan Mostly older stuff.
I have owned a few cars but mostly P/U Trucks & Suburbans.
Hey Cars & Trucks are like women, I love Um all.
Well the reason I am posting is a feller I met has these shocks, struts & springs
I am totally ignorant to this stuff {I've never owned a car with struts}
It is obviously that the stuff is new never been installed & the guy he got it from some years ago says it is high end racing application.
Plus he has the Original box
Honestly I have been Googleing my butt off trying to find anything & I came up with nothing.
I normally don't get into other business but the man is suffering with some kind of nerve cancer & I told him I would try to find out for him.
I am not trying to sell them here merely just trying to find out the worth of them .{Not sure about RULZ selling here on this site}
Thank You for reading this & any & all replies would be greatly appreciated.

They could be SLP take-offs.
The cars went from the GM factory and where sent to SLP to be converted to SS cars. Shocks/springs were removed and replaced so the take-offs are almost new (at the time)
By now those buggers are ready to leak like a sieve I would think!
Oh and welcome to LS1.com!

DeCarbons are factory garbage for our 4th gen f-bodies, there isn't anything "high-end" about them.

Yeah sorry but you're right he got screwed...
Well, that's my opinion, as there are quite a few 4th-gen f-body owners that are thrilled with the factory deCarbons, but they were designed to be comfy and perform, so in other words the deCarbon's were designed to be "okay" in every category, which causes them to not be good when doing some spirited cornering...
Does that make sense???
