    Question Cutting My Stock Springs?

    I was thinking about cutting my stock coil springs to lower my car. Its an 02 Z/28. Has anyone done this? Is the ride quality sh!t afterwards? How much should I cut them? Thanks guys.

    if you use heat, like a torch, to cut them, they'll be useless. you will have to cold cut them. hacksaw type of thing. if you do this, no more than 1/2 a coil. ride will suffer some.

    either do the rubber hose mod in the rear or get new springs all around..dont cut the stock ones. It will change your spring rate and your shocks that are already shit if they're stock will be that much worse.
