    Nope, there is definitly a difference. Either V6's or both V6's and Z28's had the light colored bumper and SS's had the black bumper.

    Our cars can use all the suspension travel they can get, 1/2" more travel is a lot for our cars!

    Actually with larger wheel it is (in some cases) required

    2002 Camaro SS

    I swapped my SS one's for the Z28 bump stops. The SS one's were black and had the metal spacer on them. The Z28 one's are triangle shaped with the pointed end being flat. They are white/beige in color. They are also softer than the SS one's.

    I'm running 275/40/18" tires in the rear, with the factory Bump Stops cut-down 1" shorter and I never have any problems with the rear tires contacting the inner wheel well.



    I guess if you're running overly tall, wide, or tall/wide tires then the spacers might serve a purpose.
