    car rattling

    ok ls1, just changed my shocks and springs(koni/strano) when i roll over bumps my car still rattles what wil cause this to stop.

    Lots of things to look at -- I would start with the exhaust clearance over the panhard brace, all the undercar heatshields, and possibly the spare tire, jack and such.

    Agreed on the heat shield and exhaust. Depending on what exhaust set-up you have, where the pipe crosses over the axle gets "very" close to the panhard bar as Jeff mentions. You should be able to tell if it's rubbing there by looking at the metal itself on the exhaust.

    Mine used to hit and I created some clearance with a prybar . Now I have the PHB relocation kit from UMI. Will be installing it soon.

    I gained some additional clearance by sliding the mid-pipe back a bit on the Y -- about 1/4 inch was all it took to comfortably clear the panhard brace. Will you post up some pics of the install Jon?

    thanks i will check everything. it sounds like its the plastic pieces in my car mainly near the rear.
