No clearance issues, but some irreversible modifications (cutting / grinding) must be done to the front spindles. Check out UMI's C5 kit, it includes everything for a front conversion. I'm told the rear conversion is a direct bolt-on, with no modifications necessary.

You need adapters to make the rotors/calipers and pads to work.

The admin/owner (Trackbird) on this site sells them (formally known as Bob Bishop {sp} Brackets):

I am not sure but I would think that you would need 17" rims as well. I know the stock 02 Z28 16" rims did not work on my old Baer brakes system with my 94 Camaro (you could get them on, but the caliber would bind). You might want to check and find some sort of template to make sure the system will fit inside your wheels. I have been thinking about this conversion myself, just have not had the time to look very far into it.

Good call! Definitely check the backspacing before you order. I know factory 17s will fit, though.

Yeah i know you need the brackets for the calipers.. but if you were just doing the rotors would that be fine..? would they still fit on the stock calipers? with the C-5 rotors..?

For some reason, I don't think the stock calipers work with C5 rotors. Not positive, though...

still need the adaptors because the rotors are larger.
