    bumperstop

i put on c5 rims and had to preload the suspention to get the rims on. should i cut off the bumperstop? give me your input. if my suspention goes up to much it will hit against my rim and potentially blow out my tire. i was told to cut it off and but 6 tenis ablls in the rear springs.

Don't know what the width of the rims are but if you have room you might try a wheel spacer. I wouldn't remove the bump stop, but you can trim it down a bit. Do the wheels hit on both sides or just one?

both the rims are 10.5" with a 285. and the tires are flush with the top of my fender now and i did not want to buy a $100 spacer

i just got the 17x11 zr1 rims in back in i removed the bumpstops all together and trimmed down the bracket that they mount to. there is no way unless the car was loaded up with 4 people and some cargo that it would ever bottom out anyways lol
