Bump stops
I know that before the rear suspension runs out of travel the axle will strike the rear bump stops. What would make hard contact in the front suspension before it were to run out of travel? Shocks bottom out? Springs fully compress?...

More than likely your oil pan digging into the road.
But really, it would be your springs and shocks.

Depending on the drop, tire size, etc it also could be the rim complete with tire hitting the wheel well prior to what was suggested in the above post.
