Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
On a budget...this is what I have.
1999 Trans Am WS.6
29,600 miles.
Just had the Eibach prokit delivered. I have the LCA's and the relocation brackets. Also have the adjustable panhard bar coming.
I know Eibach says they drop the car 1.2"....how much do they really??
I am not looking for a handling king here...just some improvements over stock. Also looking to fit the TT2's better to the car as well.
I am thinking I am going to have to run the stock struts for now. I might be able to get rear shocks...but struts are out for now.
Will it be okay for 4-5K miles on the stock struts?? Or should I just wait to install the springs?
How much are the good shocks/struts??

stock struts should last 5,000 miles with lowering springs but I just got New KYB AGX struts for like $300 shipped. Adjustable and I love them.....

You are going to pay $300-$350 labor to change the springs unless you do it urself. Id wait until you get the shocks. Why pay double labor?

Doing it myself.
Most all work done by me.
AFASTYZFR1, that was actually open headers on the old stock motor. Lunati 226/234 cam, stock heads.

With the AGX's the adjuster knob is reallly close to the swaybar when putting on a 35mm. I just found that out. I think the sway bar might have made contact with the drivers side knob once already.

That kit with KYB AGX's only lowered my car maybe an inch which I'm so glad. I hate the slammed look. But I had to fill the tire gap up.
