    Broke off Wheel Studs

I broke off the 3 rear wheel studs off of my 95 camaro and yeah the entire wheel went rolling down the road. What do I need to do to replace them? Is there any upgrades that I should do while it is off?

    Thanks,

Not sure what happened. The other 2 that r still on there must have stripped off. I found the lug nuts and the threads r shot.

Any on what i should do to fix (replace studs or whole hub) and or how to fix (any special tools or difficult steps).

    Thanks

Ask your local auto parts or speed shop for hardened wheel studs..

Removel of the old ones is simple.. Use a drift punk and hammer to remove the broken stubs.. Don't go too crazy swinging the hammer, but it will take some force to drift the splined stud base out of the hubs.. Install new studs.. I use a 3/4"-1/2" drive impact socket slid over the new stud, (a stack of washers works too).. Pin the hub so it can't turn, and use my impact gun on a slightly lower setting to slowly pull the new stud into the hub.. When the hat bottoms out remove the hardware and go on to the next..

I'd also say, do not drive it with only 2 studs holding a wheel on....Dangerous

You can post pics upon joining the site. You need to host them at a site like Photobucket and then copy and paste the [IMG] code into your post here.
