    Braking systems

Not sure if I'm in the right forum or not. I'm looking to upgrade my 02 Hawk with new front and maybe rear brakes. Any recommendations? If so, how about good places to order/buy the equipment.

A friend has 6-piston Wilwood brakes. He loves them. Any thoughts?? Price is an issue. I don't want to spend $3,000 on Brembo or Baer for one set.

well, the inexpensive route would be stock rotors that have been drilled and slotted like i have. then add hawk brake pads.
Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

don't touch the rear brake system... improve the front one.
price-wise, the best bang for buck, just make sure you get plain rotors... non-slotted non-pierced... it's more $ and less efficient than exact same rotors that are plain.
Best improvement is to get better pads... if that is not enough, you can always do the Z06 upgrade with good pads.
I doubt, unless you are racing that you need more than that, since street tires won't be able to cope consistently w/ them, depending on the pad of choice.
