brakes...
does anyone have any thing larger than two piston front calipers? all i know is that my brakes suck. i need some good ones, but im not going any larger than two piston, unnecessay for me. just wondering what everyone has. also, is there a pretty noticable difference in ceramic pads concerning heat dissapation. i have extreme brake fade and the late braking demands of a road course coupled with brake fade is going to send me into the grass.
in my best ricer ebonics....
im trying to be an all around kind of motha fucka...ya know.

triple-black- 2000 CamaroSS convertible
best thing to do is go with the C5 upgrade getting the trackbrackets (Bob design). PM trackbird or email him... you can find him in ls1tech (mod, i think) or frrax (owner/admin) .

Ceramic pads are not good for road courses; you will detroy them in one afternoon's racing (ask me how I know this ). Hawk has some great pads for road racing...for all venues.
Also take a look at your brake fluid...are you still on the stock DOT III? If so, realize that has the lowest boiling point and is probably the main cause of your brakes fading after a few laps. When your fluid heats up, your brakes fade and will eventually, as you say, send you into the grass.
There are some good aftermarket brake fluids out there with a higher boiling point then the standard DOT fluids. Check out the links below.
