I am getting ready to change my rotors and brakes. I am going to put on slotted/drilled rotors. What are good brake pads to use with those types of rotors?

I would upgrade to the C5 braking package, go to umiperformance.com they sell them there.

Lots of people run Hawk pads.. I used stock AC Delco parts when I did my D/S rotors.

i'd stay away from slotted + drilled... you'll get less braking performance than if you get the same rotor plain.
Unless you want it for show/bling purposes, though.
As for the pad selection, depends on your application... is it mainly for street ?

    almost stock triple-black 2000 SS convertible with 17x11s on all 4 w/ 315s at the track or on the street with 18x10.5s on all 4 w/ 315s: (1), (2)

There just decals. It's just that Corvettekid82 is way too damn good at polishing and his calipers look aftermarket.
