I can't comment on drilled or slotted since I have not tried them...but they look nice.

I did, however, upgrade to premium rotors you can get from any autoparts store and ceramic pads and the immediate difference is amazing! The car stops so much faster and smoother. I warped the stock rotors at least three times since having the car, but have not warped these new ones yet. This was over a year ago and I am still happy with them.

WARNING: ceramic pads are NOT to be used for road courses. I destroyed them in about a half a day of racing...luckily they were still under warranty They work well for autocross though.

Funny...I've never ever had any problems with my PowerStop cross-drilled rotors.

First hard stop on the Interstate with the new rotors/pads. Very much improved. No shimmy, and a good constant feel. No grabbing, just really consistent feel.

Once again, mostly due to being new, but the pedal feel did not vary from the slotted/drilled rotors. The felt the same as plain ones.

    Brake Pads

What brand of brake pads did you buy? Are the ceramic pads softer then a metallic pad? I know they are suppose to last a long time and were devloped in Japan for cars that tend to wrap the rotors. Want to replace the pads this time.
If you don't mind some dust what about a high performance semi- metallic. I just had my rotors ground again. There was .003 and .005 runout on them. They aslo had some burning on inside and on the outside some pad chatter. The tech support ay Baer brakes said they have seen the pads build up chatter and give the sensation that the rotors are wraped.
