Bleeding Brakes with a Line Lock

I installed a SJM Line Lock and I then bled the brakes. Now my brakes are REAL soggy. Did I do something wrong with the installation? Should the Line Lock be activated or deactivated when bleeding the brakes?

Loosen the fitting on the ABS, while someone is pushing the brake pedal slowly, then tighten after the air blows out. Don't engage it... You might still have to bleed the front brakes, if you worked air through the lines also.
