Wanting to upgrade my springs and shocks on my '98 WS6. Thinkin of Bilstein or Eibach. Any suggestions, preferences, or knowledge of good deals out there?
Thanks for any input.

what's your budget? how much are you looking to lower?
budget shocks=bilstein revalves or slp bilsteins, not too keen on KYB's or Tokico's
really good shocks=koni's
springs all pretty much cost the same: strano, vogtland, lt1 eibach pro kit, bmr, hotchkis, and pretty much anything else other than the eibach sportlines(personal preference) and the ls1 prokit tends to sag in the rear
i have bilsteins/hypercoils on my car. happy with them overall. wayyy better than stock. after riding in a koni car though it's no comparison. if you can afford it, go koni, but if not bilsteins are the next best thing.

Weeelll, I am not tethering myself just yet to a budget. I understand many times you get what u pay for and other times u can get by just as well with 'cheap'. This is my daily driver and every drive is pure enjoyment. This is also a car that I will never sell, so I'm fine with investing in the future.
I see that Koni's as NOT cheap tho.
As far as springs- I have full exhaust (LT's with ORY, no cats, and Borla catback) and I feel my Y pipe needs better clearance. Anyone here have any issues with lowering and bustin up ur exhaust from this? I think I'm gonna have a shop weld the y up b/c it's modular and clamped. Suggestions here?

the best you can get is koni's and strano springs. if you y hangs that low you may tray and get a set of hotchkes springs and yes i know i didnt spell them right.

If you're worried about ground clearance it may be wise to just stick with the stock springs. With the Koni's you can drop the car approx 1/2-3/4" by using the lower perch on the front shock and doing the hose mod on the rear spring. Add a set of Sam's hollow swaybars and you have a great setup.

I'm lowered(drop similar to the eibach prokit) and with longtubes and subframe connectors i VERY rarely scrape. this on a daily driver too. all depends on the roads around you.

I am currently looking at the bilstein and eibach shocks and spring package they have on kyspeed. And I was wondering how well they hold up and how much it lowers them also? any help?

they lower the car about 1" all around. only complaint i have about that kit is it lowers the rear a little more than the front which always sort of bothered me. other than that it's a decent daily driver setup if you want a mild drop with decent performance relatively cheaply.

If you cannot afford the koni's the bilstein hd's with strano springs is the middle grade.

Not to mention usually people are not happy with the ride quality of eibachs
Go stranos
You'll thank us all for it later

i would recommend SLP bilsteins instead of HD's for lowering springs. they are valved *better* for lowering springs with higher rates than HD's. plus i think strano has them on sale right now.
