Best Parts? Spohn, BMR, SLP, LG Motorsports?
I am redoing the basic handling suspension on my 2002 WS6 TA, I am jsut curious as to which manufacturer you all prefer? I am in a tossup between BMR, SLP, and Spohn. Let me know what your opinions are.
Thanks

UMI is great but LG has some very unique top of the line parts as well.
For instance they have the best LCA for our cars on the planet:

So what specific parts are you speaking of besides the lower control arms?

I'm going to say Strano and UMI. Why? Well to begin with I actually compete with the cars and win in 'em. I work with and am close to UMI and use a number of their items when they are appropriate.
Spohn, BMR, and SLP are not about handling per se. Somethings might work well enough, others maybe not. What I do is make cars turn. LG makes nice products overall, but are a bit overpriced and are somewhat fond of the notion that their's is the only way to skin a cat. We all feel we have the "best" solutions, I'm no different. What you can look to is reputation, quality, how the parts are used, and when and how they are recommended. I'm big on the right part for the job, and am kind of known for *not* selling parts I easily could have if they aren't right for the job.
I also do my best to take the time to explain my reasons for my thinking.
Bottom line, a lot of parts like SFC's, PHB's and the like aren't hard to make. Most of the brands mentioned have very nice parts. Where things get tougher is into dynamic things like shocks, springs, bars, and the interaction of those things with other items like certainly types of control arms, tires, etc. I think this is where I excel.Sam Strano

I have two friends with 8 second cars. 4 or 5 with 9 second cars, and countless others with 10,11 second cars. All of em use Spohn. They compete in em too.

I don't know yet. Might have a few, but have to get through more of the complete sets first to see if I have extra's.

I followed Mr. Lous and went with UMI. LCAs, LCA brackets, SFCs, torque arm / tq arm relocation bracket, and strut tower brace so far. Going with them for panhard and sway bar also...soon. Very good parts. The Trans Am has a completely differnt stable feeling while accelerating and stopping.
