    Best Combination?

Im planning on getting new shocks, probably Bilstien HD. I was just wondering if I need to change out anything else or if these will work with my stock 2000 ws6. Im not planning on lowering it anytime soon.
What is the best set up? Im willing to spend a little more for a better ride.

The Bilstien HD are the perfect choice to match with the stock springs.

Now if you do decide to change the springs you can always get the Bilstien's revalved to match the new spring rates.

im interested in getting bilstein shocks as well, is there any downside to getting them just for the rear? it seems like when I make a turn somthing is rubbing in the back of the car and it makes all these horrible squeeling and clicking noises.

I'd always go for matching shocks front and back, especially if you like driving fast. Putting tougher shocks on the rear might unbalance the handling. Not safe!

By the way, I just ordered bilstein B6's and keep my stock springs.

You can check around the 'net and get them for just over $200 for all four shocks.

Get all four you will not regret it as it sounds like yours are worn out.

Besides that the shocks that come stock on our cars are complete garbage...

I installed my sfc and front shocks this weekend, and I can tell a big difference. The ride is a lot smoother and more responsive.
It was a little harder than I thought it was going to be because my passenger side shock had rusted over a little so I ended up having to cut the shock to get it away from the spring. I also broke my end links for the sway bar so they had to be replaced which I was planning on doing anyway.
The guide at ls1howto.com was very helpful.

Yes the Bilstein HD dampers are a really decent shock and they should have been the ones that the factory put on our cars as stock imo.
