ball joint removal
im rebuilding the suspension in my 69 camaro, and cant seem to get the ball joints out. does anyone now how to do this. i read something about how there originally rivited in place from the factory and u have to chizel them off.... ??? any ideas would help, thanks

Its been a while but I think the uppers were rivited in. Usually either grind or drill the tops off the rivits to get them out.. Lowers were always a press fit, a ball joint press is the best way. You might be able to rent one from Autozone or equivalent. Harbor freight also has them for a reasonable price.
