    Another subframe connector question

I had just about decided on umi 2pt boxed on the general consensus that boxed is stronger than tubular, which makes sense. Then I noticed the tubular have a chromoly option. Now my question is would the chromoly tubular be stronger than the boxed mild steel?

    re

At the same thickness yes chromemoly is stronger then steal. Most chromemoly parts are made thiner and lighter then boxes steal parts. They can do this because the thinner walled chromemoly is just as strong as the boxed steal part and weights less. Which as we all know weight is not good for acceleration.

I think I am just going to go with the weld-in umi 3 point tubular chromoly subframes. Has anyone had anything welded at East Side Performance? I have heard alot of good things about them in general and I am assuming they must have a decent welder on hand.
