Air Suspension legit or shit for f bodies?

I wanted anyones feedback that is familiar with the pro's and con's of air suspension from a performance perspective.

I'm not going for the snoop dog aka car club shit that bounces up and down (ie hydraulics) -- do any street racers or drag cars use air suspension? (my cars a street racer).

    Any input is appreciated.

    Thanks !

Good question I'd also like to know if they are any good for handling. Aside from drag racing. If you can't turn it, it has no use IMHO...

I've got air springs on the back of my Camaro, since I can use any shocks I want to use. Unlike the fronts where your stuck with the shocks your bags are mounted to, so I don't have air springs up front for that reason.

With air springs in the rear my car it handles just as good, if not better than any coil springs I've had in the rear (LT1 pro-kit, Ground Control 150 lb./in., global West 175 lb./in., and KB hypercoil rear springs), and the ride quality can't be beat!
BTW, I also Hotchkis sway bars(rear adjustable) SFC's, and a Fays2 watts link.
    My car handles/rides great!
