Aftermarket Sway Bars, are they worth it?
Thinking about getting some Hotchkis or Suspension Tech bars. I don't do hardly any track time but I do some road racing, darn those Mustangs wanting their butts kicked. Just a curious what other people are using.
TSP Torquer V2 cam, ported heads, fast 90/90 combo, LT's, 3400 stall, magnaflow CB, most other bolt ons, full suspension, t-top and HID conversion

Yes esp. the front bar. Everycar can benifit from a 35mm front bar.
And if you are going to change these parts out you should replace/upgrade the endlinks and bushings to poly.

what are your plans/goals for your suspension set-up? different sway bars are out there for f-bodies for strip/street and road course. pro and cons to both. figure out what you want first instead of getting something now and being disappointed with it later...

Do you get a lot of understeer issues from the rear sway if you do both bars?

can't just throw good bar sizes are good, etc.
The main goal of the bars are to balance the car in terms of understeer/oversteer... given a spring setup already on the car.
basically, 1 thing to remember if your car oversteers, and you want to fix the problem w/ bars, you have 2 choices... get bigger front or smaller rear, or combination of both.
remember that a common mistake that ppl do is think that bigger is better, and put a huge rear bar, while the car already oversteers... making it even more prone to just lose grip in the rear at whatever steering input you give it.
before looking into bar sizes... what springs are you using ?

I still have the stock springs and shocks. I know I am going to upgrade the shocks and some point in the not so distant future. As of right now, I don't exhibit and under/over steer, but it does dive somewhat going into corners.

dude, that was the upgrade I felt the most out of all of them The car felt like a whole different machine. A must and the best bang for the buck around.

your $ will be better spent on a good set of shocks and a good alignment.
