I believe the UMI 3-pt SFC's fit tighter up against the body than SLP's. You can buy UMI's in Chromoly if you are worried about a few pounds, but they cost an additional $100. I am extremely impressed by the quality of the UMI 3-pt. SFC's. I know there are car's running in the 9's with just 2pt. welded in SFC's. The UMI 3-pt. SFC's would be even stronger than those. You can always weld in the 3-pt's as well for the ultimate in stiffness. Good luck with the SFC's. Take Care.

Cool , as for mods my Hawk was a low optioned A4 I wish it came with the Bilstine suspension & Auburn diff ! Just picked it up last summer at some point someone did install a Magnaflow cat-back & this winter I installed a K&N Filter SLP Lid & Bellow .
The previous owner of mine recenlty informed me that he bought another Hawk an 01 black M6 with only 8,500K`s ! & I think saw the same car in a local Autotrader for about $40 G`s CDN and now he`s wanting to sell it .
But for the future I would really like to make my car handle the corners , but from what I`ve heard those SFC`s ( SLP ) are about 45 lbs or so , looks like maybe some more engine mods will be needed to account for the extra weight !

Well if you only plan to drag race then the 2 points might still be okay, but if you plan to road race or auto cross then you really should get a 3 point set up. Especially when you replace the stock torque arm with an after market one that mount to the SFC where the 3 point meets.
