    2 or 3 point sfcs

i saw this discussed slightly already but i thought i would take a poll to find out what is prefered and to ask if the third point actually adds that much

I would say 3 points are better because they brace more of the car together.

I bought the 2 point tubular units for my cars because they are the type that get stitch welded along the rocker. So in essence they actually attach in 3 places, one being long and along the side of the chassis. I was told (and believe) the seller that these are better than the double diamond square tubes for torsional rigidity. They of course will be as strong on linear compression. Now for the fight to begin.

My 2-point SFCs made a huge difference to the feel and handling of the car (not to mention how much quieter the car is!). I only chose 2-point because I didn't want the extra weight of the 3-points. It'd be nice to tie the transmission crossmember into the frame, but I can always do that at a later date if I felt there was a benefit.

I love my 3pt.s, I can really feel the difference over bumps and going up my driveway. as far as which is better, I really have no idea. but I figure the 3pt. would be stronger.
