I don't drive the Camaro in the winter. But one of my best friends drives his Formula in the winter... And everything I and my girlfriend own are RWD and have a minimum of 210 hp.

Winter tires my friends, real new-tech winter tires. I've passed 4x4 trucks that were stuck in pony-cars with winter tires on 'em.

There are some tires that aren't completely terrible in the dry. Look for the more performance oriented winter tires if that's what you want. Most "ice" type tires are a little soggy feeling because of the multi-cell design to help suck up water from on top of ice, that's what makes them feel spongy, because they are.
